Edoardo worked in Italy as a personal trainer where he developed a particular interest in injury rehabilitation. Driven by the desire to get involved and expand his knowledge, in 2016 he decided to move to the UK where he completed a degree in Sports Therapy.

During his academic career, he had the opportunity to work for different clubs, increasing his interest in various musculoskeletal disorders in particular back and knee injuries.

Thanks to his experience and the training he received, he is able to diagnose injuries and plan a tailored rehabilitation program according to the patient’s needs, including techniques such as sports massage, joint mobilization and exercise.

He believes that movement is the main element for physical and mental health; during your patient journey, you will find that his approach is not limited to treatment but focuses above all on the maintenance and prevention of injuries through physical activity.

Edoardo is a former football player and has managed to include his passion in the professional sphere by covering the role of physiotherapist for a football team over the weekend. In his spare time, he maintains an active lifestyle through running, cycling and martial arts.

Ben is a Remedial Soft Tissue Therapist qualified at the London School of Sport & Remedial Massage in 2013 and Personal Trainer with 14 year’s experience in the fitness and soft tissue injury rehabilitation professions. During this time, he has attended specialised courses which help to find a solution to his client’s pain and discomfort.

He specialises in treating various soft tissue injuries, in particular helping clients with back pain. This passion comes from his own personal experiences with back pain, and so the alleviation of discomfort and pain is at the core of everything he does. He works with clients who are looking to return to health from sports or work-related injuries or other physical limitations of everyday aches and pains.

Ben has a unique treatment and training approach, combining soft tissue work and corrective exercise to find a long-term solution. Working as an online coach, Ben can provide bespoke aftercare treatment plans via an app which offers clients the benefit of training videos showing them how to perform specific corrective exercises in between soft tissue sessions.

”The biggest lesson he has learned over the years is this: Pain is not going to go away if you pretend it doesn’t exist. Whether it’s a new or old pain, if it is present, then it is there for a reason.”

”Only when you find the trigger for your pain can you take the right steps to prevent it.”

After qualifying at the Durban University of Technology in 2003, C.T. travelled to Ireland where he practiced for 2 years. On leaving Ireland, he worked in Middlesbrough for two years before joining a clinic in Maidstone in 2007. In 2012 C.T., together with his wife Ingrid, started Blackfen Chiropractic Clinic.

C.T.’s first introduction to chiropractic was as a teenager, when a neck injury from playing rugby led to him seeing a chiropractor. It was his first impression of the chiropractic adjustment and the effect that it could have on a person’s health that motivated him to study chiropractic.

C.T.’s enjoyment of sports has led him to work closely with local sports teams, but it’s the challenges of a family based practice that C.T. finds most interesting and rewarding.

Since qualifying, C.T. has continued to be a keen student of chiropractic. In 2012 he attained his Advanced Certification in Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT). He is currently embarking on coursework in Chiropractic Neurology.

C.T. is registered with the General Chiropractic Council (Reg No: 02456) and is a member of the British Chiropractic Association. On a personal note, C.T. and his wife enjoy the outdoors and go camping as often as possible. In 2014 he became a proud father to Callum, and Daniella in 2016. C.T. is an avid golfer and enjoys watching rugby test matches at Twickenham.
